So i still haven't become an avid blogger yet. I am running my first 10K tomorrow morning. I'm excited and wondering when i'm going to fall asleep. The race starts at 7:00 that's just too early to get up, changed, eat, drive to starting site, & warmup. Oh well guess i'll be napping tomorrow after the race.

New look will hopefully keep me blogging
So i upgraded my blogger and oh my the template is so easy. Wish i would have done that months back.
Today, i went to Micheal's and purchased beads. Now i just need to start creating i'm still in the purchase beads stage and can't get back into the creating stage. I have new books new bedding area, new beads, somewhat organized beading area, what's stopping me??
I have signed up to some races next month.
May 3 - Fun 5K Run
May 24 - Sask Marathon - 10K
I'm not totally ready for the 10K but i can always walk it too. Missed today's run at 830am cause i was up till 2:00am last night talking to my brother Dean. He is super excited to hear that i am planning my trip to visit him. He's heading back to Asia in 4 days. I guess i'll be visiting him in Asia and not Australia. Now to decide how long my trip will be, when, where i want to go. I know i want him to take me diving and rockclimbing but that's all i know for now.
Well better get packing for my overnight stay at my bff's house tomorrow night...why may you ask. I'm having surgery to remove my bottom wisdom teeth tomorrow morning and my bff gratitully offered for me to rest at her house. Thank you.

Another accident
My car is red and you would think red for stop...not. It's a target for cars/trucks to hit. Thursday Jan 29 i had the 8th accident in my red Ford escort sport. Wow 8 accidents in 11 years. Thankfully, only one was a major accident but all the other accidents had reagrevated my neck and i've had some form of wiplash with them.
This happened on my way to work, i was in a yield to turn right onto 51st and didn't try to proceed into traffic cause of the slippery roads but apparently the truck behind me thought i was going so he was going to beat the oncoming traffic too. He hit me hard. Get out of the truck and low and behold i see a familiar face our service manager to be exact. I've worked with him for 5 years so crazy that he hit me. The car is getting assessed on Thurs. All i know is that i am replacing this car. Not sure with what yet. My thoughts before the accident was to get a SUV hybrid but don't know if my budget will allow this right now, but maybe it will.
Finally got started on my new finances today. Still need to finish the month of January. More bills to post and then i need to reconcile the accounts. - i went totally overboard for my finances this year. I'm using my simply accounting program and running my life like a small company. Everything gets recorded. But at least then i can track much better.

Trying again
I commit to updating this blog once every two weeks. I'm not going crazy, babysteps people. I'm not so good as a blogger, i'm a good reader of other people's blogs.
Update on my life for this new year. The roommate and i have not found a roommate. The roommate decided about 3 weeks ago she was ready to give up and was willing to pay only 1/2 rent/utilites. She told me before Christmas and told me not to make my decision immediately. Well in my mind the decision was made immediately. Oh this could mean i could maybe get my bead room back, we could then make the downstairs the workout area and could take over the entire kitchen. (granted one cupboard for isn't a lot but more fridge space bonus) I let the newspaper run for Jan 3 and Jan 5 and wouldn't you know, no phonecalls at all. I checked on Monday and the ad was in the paper. The universe decided, well actually both of us decided in my minds, that we were fine and wanted to take over this entire duplex.
Now my mind is running with how do i move all my beads, computer desk and surrounding paperwork into the upstairs spare room and keep it slightly organized while doing it. My computer desk is a complete mess with piles everywhere and some piles yet to organize. **I'll post pic here later**
Oh another interesting fact today. I went to physical therapist for my jaw. I have a slight TMJ problem. It's the disc above my jawbone ball that is getting out of place that causes my jaw to lock sometimes. Amazing how he determined it, his fingers in my mouth and all. When he was checking it out i felt the sore muscles and how the right side hurt more. The treatment is to see him 3 times this month, in which he will stretch it out and will give me some stretched to do on my own. After these 3 treatments we will reassess and determine if more treatments are needed or if we can wait about 3 weeks till the next visit. Looks like i will be seeing him for about a year, as it is a treatable problem but not a fast fix problem. He mentioned if we don't do anything about this problem i could have more problems and arthristis could start to form.
Today marks another exciting moment in my brother's life. He is flying to Australia to start his one year visa. He leaves Phi Phi today or was it yesterday...this damn timechange i don't get it yet.
